Industrial Brinell capability

A rigid loading machine is only the first half of the system.

The machine must create the required force and support the specimen. The optics must reveal the indentation. The measurement must be calibrated. The software and report must preserve what the operator actually did.

Specification rule: compliance is established for the delivered model, selected scales, verification and procedure. A marketing page cannot certify a machine configuration.

Configuration families

Select by workflow and specimen—not by the word “digital.”

Routine optical Brinell

Established loading frame with manual force selection/cycle as applicable and optical indentation reading.

  • Laboratory QC
  • Lower test frequency
  • Operator-led reading

Motorized cycle

Single-start load, dwell and unload cycle with repeatable timing and reduced manual machine operation.

  • Routine production batches
  • Faster consistent cycles
  • Manual or digital reading

Digital camera system

Calibrated camera and software replace or supplement the traditional reading microscope.

  • Image evidence
  • Manual/automatic edge tools
  • Reports and limits

Integrated / custom

Machine status, motorized turret, autofocus, camera measurement, stages or production interfaces engineered together.

  • Higher throughput
  • Large/special specimens
  • Traceable electronic workflow

Quotation checklist

Send enough information for an engineering answer.

1

Test method

Standard/edition, required HBW scales, target range, number of tests and acceptance criteria.

2

Specimen envelope

Drawing, test location, maximum height/depth, weight, curvature, handling and surface condition.

3

Throughput

Tests per shift, batch size, operator count, cycle-time goal and production/lab environment.

4

Optical reading

Manual microscope, digital scope, automatic measurement, autofocus and retained image needs.

5

Data

Limits, part recipes, Excel/PDF layout, images, database, network or line-integration expectations.

6

Service

Installation location, calibration/certificate requirement, training, warranty, AMC and spares.

Software and reporting

Add BMS Essentials when the indentation must become evidence.

The software can provide calibrated camera measurement, manual and automatic tools, tolerance evaluation, charting and image-backed reports. New machines and retrofit projects are reviewed separately.

FAQ

Brinell tester buying questions

What load range do Multitek Brinell testers support?

Applicable configurations extend to traditional macro-Brinell loads up to 3000 kgf. The exact minimum, maximum and available scales depend on the selected model and force system.

Are manual and automatic models available?

Yes. Multitek supplies manual-reading, motorized-cycle, digital optical and integrated automatic configurations. Define which test stages need automation.

Can Multitek build a tester for large or unusual parts?

Multitek undertakes custom fixtures, bridges, motorized stages and special-purpose systems after reviewing specimen drawings, capacity, cycle and safety requirements.

Is calibration included?

Machine supply can be coordinated with calibration and installation documentation. Confirm the required standard, accredited scope, location and certificate during quotation.

How do I get an accurate Brinell hardness tester price?

Send the required scales, ball sizes, specimen envelope, automation, optical reading, reporting and calibration requirements. Price comparisons without the same scope are misleading.
